1 STEP ONE Every ComfortWash™ garment begins with U.S. grown cotton, mainly grown in America’s southern states on naturally irrigated local farms.
2 STEP TWO The cotton travels to an energy-efficient, zero-waste facility within the U.S.—then spun into a superior, softer yarn.
3 STEP THREE The garments are cut and sewn in a Hanes® owned, locally employed facility in El Salvador. Our plant utilizes on-site renewable energy production including its water-treatment process.
Hanes® invited college students to take a first-hand tour of our entire supply chain, from the locally-owned cotton fields of North Carolina to company-owned, energy-efficient facilities in El Salvador.
